Our other wedding went very well, but we did not have an Elan Band with us at that one. Gosh Gretchen and Caroline... it was just a reminder that Elan's level of professionalism is at a different level. Also, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate people like Colin and Andy as it relates to sound. As you know, not all bands -- even really expensive ones -- do not come with the same quality of sound equipment that you always do. I perhaps have been taking that too much for granted recently! The sound you all provide is just so key to offering the client the very best possible experience.

I have to say that Henri was very strong (and at times intimidating), but we outmuscled him. I CANNOT express to each of you how much I appreciated ALL you did to convince yourselves that you were coming along with me this weekend to do this, come rain and more rain. Each of you took a leap of faith when the weather report said stay home, avoid travel and I said, “we are on schedule with no timeline changes”. I’m sure your families were worried when you walked out the door to return in the middle of the night after a very long day and dark, wet roads. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for staying the course and being bolder than the storm because we not only delivered but we showed up for this couple and family with a load of grit.
