A burning Latin jazz quartet, Con Candela ("With Fire") brings you the passion and virtuosity of the modern Afro-Cuban tradition.
The band hails from Washington, D.C., and brings together some of the finest instrumentalists, all of them bandleaders in their own right, into one tight, stripped-down ensemble. Their beautiful and fiery instrumentals, punctuated with the excellent lead vocals of Alfredo Mojica Jr., are perfect for the party that needs both fine listening and dancing music.
Its small size makes it a very affordable ensemble and practical for smaller spaces. We also have a broad repertoire of Brazilian jazz, and are available for concerts and festivals. Available in 3 to 6 piece format.
